Why did my comp ticket e-mail offers suddenly stop?

Most e-mail blasts stop for one of three reasons.

1- You unsubscribed your e-mail address from our service

The bottom of all our e-mail blasts contains several links including a "SafeUnsubscribe" link to remove your e-mail address from our system.

To prevent you from accidently Unsubscribing yourself, a second confirmation screen will appear when you press SafeUnsubscribe.

If you unsubscribe, we CAN NOT restore your e-mail address back to active status in the system. The system is set up to be compliant with the federal CAN-SPAM act. This means that only the contacts themselves can reverse the unsubscribe request, by initiating a new subscribe request through the system.

The easiest way for you to opt back in is to click the "Update Profile" link at the bottom of a previously sent email. When the web page opens, place a check in the "Free Members" check box on the left. Once you enter the security check text and click Save, you will again be resubscribed.

If you no longer have any of our e-mails, you can send yourself an Update Profile e-mail.

Go to www.ShowTickets4Locals.com and click on the "I Want To Join" signup link. Enter your unsubscribed e-mail address. You will get a message that this contact is already on the mailing list. Ignore this message, re-enter the e-mail and click Submit. This will send you an Update Profile e-mail.

All you have to do from here is to click the link, when the web page opens, place a check in the "Free Members" check box on the left. Once you enter the security check text and click Save, you will again be re-subscribed.

We wish we could go into the system and do all this for you, but once you selected "SafeUnsubscribe" we are locked out from changing your profile. It is something you have to do on your own.

2- Your Internet Service Provider is blocking our e-mails

Some Internet Service Providers like Yahoo and Cox e-mail randomly delete our e-mail without your permission. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you.

When a show calls us and offers us comp tickets to their show, we log into our e-mail account and send an e-mail offering the tickets to our members. Some internet service providers like Cox and Yahoo think since we are sending out so many e-mails at once, we must be spammers, so they delete the e-mail for you.

You can either contact your internet service provider and request they stop deleting our e-mails, or you may try changing your e-mail address in our system.

If you are unsure how to change your e-mail address, please check our FAQ page for help. We can't do it for you.

3- Your e-mails were bouncing back to us, causing your e-mail address to be removed from our system.

If our service sends out e-mails to your address, and they keep bouncing back, our computer assumes you changed your e-mail address and did not update your profile in our system. Our computer will automatically delete your address from the service.
